Madhouse Wallet performs KYC and KYB on end customers who transact through the platform, and partners are also responsible for compliance with their own end users. *** ## KYC / KYB Responsibility Madhouse Wallet performs KYC and KYB on end customers who transact through the platform, including identity verification and sanctions screening. This is a shared, layered responsibility: **partners are also required to KYC their own end users** before allowing them to initiate transfers via the Madhouse Wallet API, as set out in our Master Services Agreement (MSA). Your compliance program remains responsible for: * Identity verification of end users * Sanctions screening of senders and recipients * Transaction monitoring for suspicious activity * Reporting obligations in your jurisdiction *** ## Partner Onboarding Partner KYB (your business's verification with Madhouse Wallet) typically takes **3–5 business days**. During onboarding you will provide: * Business registration documents * Beneficial ownership information * Compliance program overview * Target markets and expected transaction volumes *** ## Acceptable Use The API may not be used for: * Transactions involving sanctioned entities or jurisdictions * Structuring or layering to evade AML thresholds * Transfers with no identifiable legitimate economic purpose Madhouse Wallet reserves the right to suspend access for activity that violates our compliance policies or applicable law. *** ## Transaction Limits | Tier | Per-transaction limit | | -------------------------- | --------------------- | | Default (new integrations) | $9,000 | | Verified enterprise | Up to $1,000,000 | Limit increases are available after review.
